Eco-habiter en Pays Corbière & Minervois
Déjà reconnu territoire pilote pour la mise en œuvre d’un plan climat territorial, le pays Corbières & Minervois est retenu pour participer à l’expérimentation "Eco-habitat" de la Fondation de France.

Programme de restauration / extension / création de bâtiments d’estive en Ariège
Sont programmées en Ariège, sur la période 2012 – 2015, la réalisation de 15 de cabanes pastorales et 10 abris pastoraux.
En zones isolées d’altitude, les chantiers sont soumis à divers facteurs limitant, notamment la saisonnalité et l’accès. Sensibiliser les entreprises à ce type de projets est la garantie d’un programme abouti dans les délais escomptés.

les typologies de la maison paysanne
La typologie est une discipline destinée à classer les maisons en fonction de leur type, celui-ci correspondant à l’apparence que prennent les maisons selon leur forme constructive. Ces types différenciant localement les diverses formes d’habitat.
Un adhérent de Maisons Paysannes de France a publié un texte sur ce thème où l’on retrouve, bien décrites dans leur contexte, des maisons du Couserans et du Lauragais

La grange de Marinotte (19th century sheep-fold)
Présentation
The main building, in this case the barn, originally had a thatched roof. When the roof caved in, the walls gradually began to deteriorate. During the German occupation, the sheepfold became home to Marinotte’s son, Georges. With the help of republican Spanish workers working clandestinely, Marinotte and Georges started rebuilding the barn The work was finished in 1945. The walls were rebuilt using stone and earth found on the site. The thatch was replaced with Limoux roof-tiles. The barn, whose ridge is at right-angles to the roof-slope, has two levels : on the ground floor, the stable was for sheltering cattle, while the upper floor was a hay-loft. The arrangement of the apertures is typical of barns in the region. The front of the barn opens eastwards onto a platform built artificially during the conversion work. The modest sheepfold is built into the slope. The back of the building is underground, enabling direct access to the upper floor. The west roof has been extended by a wood-shed.
The approach to the gîte is via a forest path, at the end of which is a clearing with a panoramic view of the valley and Mont Fourcat. The BOUTIN family was very conscious of the need to retain the barn’s character. The stone walls, both inside and out, have been consolidated but not rendered and the apertures have been subject to very little alteration.
Inside, the mountain feeling has been recreated with wood, stone and lime. The metal staircase and ceramic artefacts add a contemporary feel.
The ground floor consists of an open-plan kitchen-living room, the same size as the barn, with just one partitioned-off area for storing equipment. The bright lighting in the kitchen gives way to something much softer in the sitting area, giving it a cosy feeling. The staircase winds around the chimney-breast.
These two features, a combination of metal, wood and pottery, bring a modern touch to a restrained, traditional building.
On the first-floor, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom, plus a living-room that opens onto the courtyard. Once again, stone walls rub shoulders with modern furniture and decor.
The sheep-fold mainly serves as a play area, although it is sometimes used as a kitchen in the summer.
Guests looking for rest and repose find the former barn an ideal spot, where the quality of the conversion enhances the feeling of serenity.
